Services and Fees
Fernwood Counseling accepts self pay as well as the following insurances:
Aetna, Optum, United, UMR, Optum EAP
Because we are not paneled with Medicaid and Medicaid does not allow policy holders to self pay, we are unable to see clients insured under medicaid at this time.
Please contact your individual insurance company to inquire about co-pays and coverage.
Self pay rates:
- Initial 30 minute consultation : Free
- Individual therapy, in person : $130/ 50 minutes
- Individual therapy, virtual (Telehealth) : $130/ 50 minutes
If you had 1 initial consultation and used 1 hour of outpatient therapy every week for 51 weeks at the above-named rate, your fees would be
$130 x 51 = $6,630
Under the No Surprises Act,
you have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate.
