About 

I’m Tiffany, the therapist of Fernwood Counseling.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Baylor University.

I moved into private practice after working in schools as a School Social Worker from 2019-2023. Working with young people during those difficult COVID years, I saw an increased need for therapists who work with teens. Fernwood Counseling was born out of that need. Though the bulk of my professional experience has been with teens and young adults, I've also worked in addiction education and recovery and I specialize in treating trauma, depression, and anxiety. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).

I’m a therapist by day, but in my free time you’ll find me traveling, songwriting, crocheting, hiking, and practicing yoga.
